Rogue's Review:Two Rocks - Better than one?
Chris Rock plays a spy and a ticket scalper (twins, separated at birth) in Joel Schumacher's latest outing - this is supposed to be a spy film, see, and Anthony Hopkins brings the full brunt of his accomplished talents to the project; unfortunately, the story begins on the cartoon level and never rises above it - there is just no way anyone can take any of these goings-on seriously. If you accept it on that level, it's a decent-enough way to spend a couple of hours (at least to get out of the heat). No real big laughs here either, and in fact, Hopkins has the 'funniest' line in the film, when he tells Rock #2 twice -=- minor spoiler alert -=- "Get in the car, bitch."
